Off and Running

After spending a weekend not being sure if we would be able to make a planned trip to Southern California, we rushed to the airport on Monday, June 13, and boarded aq Delta Airline connection plane and headed for LAX.

 We arrived at about 4:15 p.m. and were taken by van to Fox Car Rentals where we rented a Hyundai.

Soon, with Hannibal Lectare's  voice coming form Charlotte's Tom Tom, we drove through freeway traffic to Sylmar and checked into our hotel  Upon arriving Charlotte ended up paying for three nights of Internet service for a fairly low price. Then it was off to dinner at Denny's before calling it a night.

While at Denny's Charlotte realized trhatr her driver's license was missing and went back tothe hotel office where they said they didn't have it. Charlotte drove back to Denny's only to find out the license wasn't there either. She returned back to the hotel with no results. Both Autumn and Charlotte searched the car but found nothing. Charlotte asked the hotel for a copy of ther copy the manager had made of her license.

About an hour later, as she and Autumn were watching TV, the phone in Charlotte's room rang and the motel office called to say they had the license.

Bedtime came and Charlotte crashed and Autumn crashed in her own room.
